Sakai Takayuki Grand Chef SP

The Grand Chef SP line is the premium version of the Grand Chef family. The SP has a line of "square dimples" on the right hand (front) side, signficantly reduces the stiction which helps in doing super thin slices. 

The Sakai Takayuki Grand Chef is a high grade stainless Western-style knives using stainless Swedish steel from Bohler-Uddeholm, harden to HRC 60, this specail alloy steel is takes a keen edge and lasts a very long time. The Grand Chef is a great choice for both professional / home cook as a mid-range all rounder, with excellent grind and bulit quality yet without a heavy price tag.
