This line aims to work with the best blacksmith and sharpeners in Japan, telling them what is the knife that we, knife enthusiast, truly want. The concept of custom profile, grind and material that are superior than stock offerings are not new at K&S.
We have first worked with Sakai Takayuki for the Sakura wide bevel line, then one of the all time best sellers: Tanaka Nahsiji with great F&F and cutting performance; and more recently the Jikko Akebono line that has super cool profile and unmatched thin, convex grind. Each iteration has improvements added based on customer feedback. As a result, K&S is able to offer a full range of unique knives that not only super affordable, but most importantly, the performs great.
